Abstract: 

RECENTLY SOME NEW GENERALIZE SEQUENCE SPACES RELATED TO THE SPACES L¥ (P), C (P) AND C0(P) HAVE BEEN DEFINED. IN THIS WORK, WE ESTABLISH ESTIMATES FOR THE OPERATOR NORMS AND THE HAUSDORFF MEASURE OF NON-COMPACTNESS OF CERTAIN MATRIX OPERATORS ON THIS SPACES THAT ARE PARANORMED SPACES BY THE MATRIX CLASSES (X, Y), WHERE (FORMULA) AND (FORMULA). FURTHER, WE APPLY OUR RESULTS TO OBTAIN CORRESPONDING SUBCLASSES OF COMPACT MATRIX OPERATORS.

Abstract: 

AbstractThe aim of this study was to investigate the validity, reliability and factor structure of the "How I Think" questionnaire to assess cognitive distortions in Iranian students. The present research design is descriptive and psychometric studies. The statistical population of this study included all male high school students in city Dezful in the academic year 1399-1400, from which 316 students were selected by multi-stage random sampling and completed the How I think and Bass and Perry Aggression Questionnaires (for Convergent validity). Factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha and Pearson correlation were used to analyze the data using SPSS and AMOS 20 software. The results of factor analysis showed that the questionnaire consists of six factors and has good fit indices. The convergent validity of this questionnaire indicated a satisfactory correlation between the dimensions of the scale "How I think" with the Aggression Questionnaire (p <0.01). Cronbach's alpha and Split- half coefficients for the whole scale and its dimensions ranged from 0.66 to 0.92.The conclusion is that the Persian version of the "How do I think" questionnaire for measuring cognitive distortions in Iranian students has acceptable psychometric properties and can be used as a valid tool in research, educational and clinical situations.

Abstract: 

The concept of MEASURE of NONCOMPACTNESS (MNC) allows us to select an important class of mappings which are more general than compact operators. The proposed work exploits the axiomatic definitio of MNC and introduces the notion of relatively nonexpansive cyclic (noncyclic) SR-condensing operators along with the aid of SR-functions. The first phase of the paper concentrates on establishing the best proximity point (pair) theorems for such operators. The main results in this manuscript extend and generalize several state of art literature on Darbo type fixed point results. In the second phase, proposed results are applied to show the actuality of optimum solutions for system of second order differential equations with two initial conditions.

Abstract: 

We propose a new notion of contraction mappings for two class of functions involving MEASURE of NONCOMPACTNESS in Banach space and derive some basic Darbo type fixed and coupled fixed point results. This work includes and extends the results of Falset and Latrach[ Falset, J. G., Latrach, K.: On Darbo-Sadovskii's fixed point theorems type for abstract MEASUREs of (weak) NONCOMPACTNESS, Bull. Belg. Math. Soc. Simon Stevin 22 (2015), 797-812. ] The results are also correlated with the classical generalized Banach fixed point theorems. Also we show the applicability of obtained results to the Volterra integral equations in Banach algebras.

Abstract: 

In this paper, using the concept of MEASURE of NONCOMPACTNESS, which is a very useful and powerful tools in nonlinear functional analysis, metric fixed point theory and integral equations, we introduce a new contraction on a Banach space. For this purpose by using of a MEASURE of NONCOMPACTNESS on a finite product space, we obtain some generalizations of Darbo’ s fixed-point theorem. Then, with the obtained results, we present some theorems on the existence of coupled fixed point for a class of operators in a Banach space. Our results generalize and extend a lot of comparable results in the literature. Also as an application, we study the existence of solution for a class of the system of nonlinear functional integral equations, which the functions and operators in the related integral operators, satisfies in a particular contraction. Finllay a concrete example is also included, which demonstrates the applicability of the obtaind results.

Abstract: 

In this paper, first we introduce a MEASURE of NONCOMPACTNESS in the Sobolev space Wk; 1ð XÞ and then, as an application, we study the existence of solutions for a class of the functional integral-differential equations using Darbo’ s fixed point theorem associated with this new MEASURE of NONCOMPACTNESS. Further, two examples are presented to verify the effectiveness and applicability of our main results.
